ZINPRO CORPORATION NAMES NEW RESEARCH NUTRITIONIST - DAIRY

Eden Prairie, Minnesota - Zinpro Corporation announces that Adam Geiger, Ph.D., has joined the company as Research Nutritionist - Dairy. In this position, Dr. Geiger works with the company's Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) team to assist with Zinpro dairy research and to provide customers with dairy nutritional services and training.
"Adam has extensive experience in the dairy industry to draw upon when assisting our customers, both practically as a herdsman, technician and leader in Cooperative Extension events, but also as a research scientist," says Connie Larson, Ph.D., RNS ruminant manager - North America. "His published research, either as lead author or co-author for peer-reviewed and industry meeting abstracts is quite impressive."
Dr. Geiger earned his doctorate in dairy science - lactation physiology, from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, his master's degree in ruminant nutrition from Mississippi State University, and his bachelor's degree in dairy science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the Impact of pre-weaning nutrition on endocrine induction of mammary development in dairy heifers.
Immediately prior to joining Zinpro, Dr. Geiger served as a national account manager and nutritional technical consultant for a prominent dairy company in North America. His work for Zinpro will be based from his home near Urbana, Ohio.
