The Colavita - Bianchi Professional Women's Cycling Team is taking a break from their busy racing schedule to sample some of the Northeast's finest farm treats at the Farm to Fork Fondo series. The team will be joining the series for the remaining two events in Maine and the Berkshires where they'll ride alongside cycling enthusiasts and foodies alike, enjoying picturesque views and locally-sourced foods. Team Colavita - Bianchi will also lead the free Pro Rider Bicycle Skills Clinic the night before each ride. They'll be giving riding tips and advice to participants looking to improve and grow their cycling skills.

"The team really looks to forward to community events like Farm to Fork Fondo," said Team Colavita | Bianchi director Mary Zider. "The Colavita cycling program has always been about fostering excellence and sharing passion for the sport. "

Team Colavita - Bianchi is a team of female professional cyclists who compete in elite cycling races throughout the globe. Six of the 13 team members will ride the Farm to Fork Fondo series; among them is Mary Zider, the team's Director Sportif, and Andrea Smith, Team Colavita's head bike mechanic. Team riders Whitney Allison, Amber Pierce, Emma Grant, and Gillian Ellsay will also take to the Farm Fork Fondo series' routes. Each Team Colavita rider will wear a special bib during the events to encourage participants to say hello and ask questions.

"We're honored to continue our partnership with Team Colavita - Bianchi," said Tyler Wren, founder and director of Farm to Fork Fondo. "We share the team's goal of uniting the cycling community by bringing amateurs and pros together, and celebrating and promoting healthy living."

Farm to Fork Fondo is a series of non competitive cycling events that invites participants of all skill levels to support local farms and agriculture while riding scenic routes. Team Colavita will be riding in the event's 90-mile Gran Fondo distances. Colavita and Bianchi are both featured sponsors of Farm to Fork Fondo, assuring the critically acclaimed series lives up to it's reputation.

"Farm to Fork Fondo wouldn't be the same without Colavita and Bianchi's support, and we're excited to showcase their brand ambassadors at our events." says Wren.
