Rural Lifestyle Dealer reports:
Louisville, Kentucky - Designed and built for the most challenging conditions, the Ariens Platinum SHO Sno-Thro offers unique capabilities for residential customers requiring superior features and performance.
Available in two models, the Super-High Output (SHO) machine can handle snowfalls of 16 inches or more and is ideal for quickly clearing a 2- to 3-car garage driveway.
Powered by the quiet and efficient Ariens AX engine, the Platinum SHO is supported by a 3-year Cold Start Promise and a 3-year limited consumer warranty. The super-high output 14" 3-blade impeller and newly improved belts and sheave transmit higher speeds that increase machine capacity and provide throwing distances up to 55 feet.
Quick Turn chute rotation places snow exactly where you want it. A two-position throttle system results in the ability to idle the machine when not in operating mode.
Control is further enhanced by the recently introduced Auto-Turn steering technology that allows effortless zero-turn motion with minimal effort. The rugged top-load commercial-duty cast iron gear case is backed by a five-year warranty-the industry's most extensive.
Ergonomic features include a user friendly dash panel and easy-to-use controls, a powerful in-dash headlight and dash-controlled handwarmers. The Platinum 24 SHO features a 306cc, 15ft/lbs Ariens AX engine with a capacity of 66.13 tons/hr or 2204 lbs/min of snow. The larger Platinum 30 SHO is powered by a 414cc, 20ft/lbs Ariens AX engine and is capable of moving 82.32 tons/hr or 2744 lbs/min of snow.
According to Angela Raddant, Ariens Product Marketing Manager, "The Ariens Platinum SHO models are the result of years of experience and research and represent the finest in Ariens craftsmanship. Each unit is a powerful tool engineered for customers who demand the best."
