In his new role as international airgun sales manager, Cortes is responsible for the sales and distribution of SIG ASP airguns internationally.

"Francois is well known and highly respected in the airgun and shooting sports industry worldwide," said Dani Navickas, product manager for the SIG SAUER ASP Airgun Division. "His numerous contacts and knowledge of international distribution channels will open many doors for our brand, and we are extremely pleased to have him on our team."

Cortes has more than 20 years of experience in the airgun and airsoft industry. Prior to joining SIG SAUER, Cortes worked for ActionSportsGames (ASG) as export manager opening new distribution channels for the company in Europe, Turkey, South America and Canada. Before joining ASG, Cortes served as Gamo Outdoor's area manager for Southeast Europe and Africa. He assisted in reorganizing the company's business in Russia. Cortes has also worked as sales director for Cybergun airsoft and BB gun products for the Spain and Portugal markets and helped introduce airsoft to the Canadian and US markets through his work for Cybergun, formerly known as 3Pylones.
