AMERICA'S HORSE IN ART RETURNS TO AMARILLO, TEXAS
Sep. 11, 2017
America's Horse Weekly reports:
The 10th annual America's Horse in Art Show & Sale at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum is open for visiting and purchasing.
America's Horse in Art has returned to the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo and is celebrating the event's 10-year anniversary.
The exhibit includes a list of more than 40 world-renowned Western artists providing pieces for the 10th annual art show and sale. Plan a trip to view this year's exhibit before it closes October 14.
During the past 10 years, top Western artists have been invited to participate in the show to present new paintings, drawings and sculptures in the Scharbauer Gallery. This year, they continue the tradition and celebrate 10 years of exhibition.
The signature piece for the 2017 show is a piece by artist Joni Monroe Beinborn of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The piece is titled "Any Time ... Any Place." Joni, along with many of the contributing artists, attended the opening on August 12 at the Museum, which featured live music, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
Each piece of art - ranging from pencil drawings to sculptures - that was not sold during opening night, is now available for purchase on a first-served basis. Art sales are available online, by telephone at 806-376-5181 and by email at email@example.com. The purchased artwork will remain on exhibit until the show closes in October.
Proceeds from the sale of the art go to the Museum to support its efforts to preserve the history of the American Quarter Horse.
